Daylight Savings

This is going to be a busy weekend with Halloween and Daylight Saving! Daylight Savings time not only reminds us to move those clocks back and gain that extra hour of sleep, but it is a time to do some safety checks around your house.

This is the time you should be changing the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. It’s not enough that you just test them; you have to change the batteries.

So get out there, and stock up on some 9 volt batteries and keep your family safe! It is also recommended that you completely replace your smoke detectors every ten years.  So if it’s been 10 years or more since you’ve had that done, please replace them.  A little time and money now could end up saving your life one day!
